1960's Marlux Wood Pepper Mill, unused

Amazing Midcentury Modern Primitive Wood Tree Trunk French Pepper Mill “Time Capsule” never used, just stored in temperature and humidity consistent vault for 60 years. Look at last two pictures for a used Marlux Pepper Mill in the exact same style and proportion. 4” long, 2 3/4” wide, and 2” tall. Stainless steel hardware on top and bottom of grinder and brown 1960’s plastic knob on top. Engraved mark on bottom, “MADE IN FRANCE MARLUX.” This style has stopped being made by Marlux for many years and the company, which goes back to the 1800’s, seems just to make smooth hardwood salt and pepper mills without bark. This is a collectible. The shape it’s in, new old stock, as new as it was in the store in 1960, makes this a great gift or collectible or just a usable antique of Midcentury Modern Primitive Design which is very popular today in home decoration for homes that have authentic Midcentury decor for their theme. This could be saved in a vitrine Art Box as s work of 1960’s Art. Rare.
