The creation of this collector's statue of Thoth Amon, from Robert E. Howard's "Conan the Barbarian" series was inspired by the artwork of Carrie Nord, and sculpted by Tony Cipriano. This bust was released in 2006 by Dark Horse Deluxe and copyrighted by Conan Properties International.
It came into my possession as a gift from a friend at a Christmas party many years back. He had received it at a comic convention, where he found himself fortunate enough to win it in a raffle.
The box itself has only been opened to view the certificate of authenticity, yet the bust itself has never been removed from the styrofoam safeguarding it. One of the corners of the box is slightly dented, but there are no indications that anything within the package is damaged.
The certificate of authenticity is included with this item, and states it as being number "3" in a production of 2,500 units, making it an extremely rare find, and an excellent addition to any serious collectors repertoire.
