This striking, adjustable cuff bracelet is a substantial piece of Navajo jewelry, crafted from sterling silver and featuring a large, oval, natural high grade #8 Turquoise stone, renowned for its vibrant blue-green color and distinctive golden-brown spiderweb matrix. The #8 mine, now closed, produced some of the world's most valuable turquoise, making such pieces highly collectible. The stone is set in a silver bezel surrounded by traditional silverwork, including stamped leaf appliqués, a twisted rope design, & a floral motif at the top. The band is a multi-shank cuff design with hand etched sunbursts. The inner surface is brushed matte finish which is indicative of high end pieces. It is marked "sterling”. The band is a split-shank design that tapers towards the ends that measure .24”. It weighs 32.1Gm.
