This is a vintage 1940s chalkware nativity set with 17 pieces. The figures are marked "hand painted in Italy" and many of them have the original price stickers from "Wellwoods" department store. The creche is made of wood and says "Germany". The trees are also marked "Germany". Everything is in excellent pre-owned condition considering the age of this set with a few paint wear spots and some chipping to a couple of the palm tree bases. No baby Jesus figure.
