This is the best quality specimen of Binghamite aka Silkstone I have ever seen. Only four medium sized slabs of this material ever hit the market. It was acquired in Minnesota on private land owned by a Pastor who has now passed away. So there is a total of 3 to 4 lbs. of this material and that is it. This is the nicest cabochon I have. Posting only for a limited time.
