This vintage box set was released by Gund in 1997. It includes a book and a plush doll. I purchased it years ago in the Bay Area from a third party. It was likely sold at FAO Schwarz in San Francisco, California, prior to its closure in 2003. The original retail price is unknown. The box is secured with an adhesive. Visually, it is clear that the box has never been opened and the contents have not been touched. We have not found another item like this for sale and consider this one to be rare. The box does have creases, imperfections and sun fading on the front and sides. Amazingly, the cellophane window is in great condition. The box measures:

Curious George is widely considered an iconic character in children’s literature and popular culture since its debut in 1941. I am asking a fair price for this 28 year old, unopened box set. We anticipate that its worth is of greater value and that it will continue to rise.
