The EX-ACPROCC Carbon Fiber Center Column from Explorer Photo & Video is the perfect accessory for the EX-ACPRO Ascent professional carbon fiber tripod. It adds up to 15.35" of extra height when greater elevation is required, and quickly and easily replaces the standard flat head platform. It features a twist-lock rapid column mechanism, and is very rigid due to its 10-layer carbon fiber construction. The center column also has a retractable ballast hook for added stability, and offers a robust 44 lb load capacity, yet only weighs about 1 lb, making it easy to take with you when shooting on location or in the studio.
