I have done loads of research on these and come up with no real info. I’m sure they are Australian indigenous clay pieces The objects depict the mystical spirit that tell story’s.

Creating sculptural works from clay is a process that has developed naturally for artists who are used to working with form and their hands – making baskets, tools and weapons from materials found in the local environment.
