Overview: Up for sale is this beautiful Japanese woodblock print by famed print artist, Torii Kiyonaga (1752-1815). This piece is entitled "The Bath" (I have also seen this titled as "A Woman Emerging From the Bath and a Black Dog" and depicts a woman leaving a bath while a black dog walks by. It is from the series, "Comparison of the Charms of Alluring Women," originally published in 1781. A really cool print. This appears to be an early midcentury (likely 1940's-1950's) printing. It is unframed.
Condition: Print is in very good condition. Minor toning and minor corner wear at lower left.
Measurements: Print measures approximately 11.5 inches high x 8.5 inches wide.
