These came in an entry-level photography lighting kit, and actually performed surprisingly well. I used them a handful of times before upgrading to dimmable LED bulbs.
At 45w, they're theoretically the equivalent of a 140w incandescent. I'm generally not a fan of florescent bulbs, but these ones are actually pretty nice. Easily one or two steps above your run-of-the-mill spiral CFL. I'm not sure what the color temperature is, but I found them pleasantly balanced: not overly warm or cold.
All 8 bulbs will come securely packaged in their original packaging.
