What does "Tokkyu" mean?

Is it like "Tokujo Karubi" (premium short rib)?

I prefer "Tan-shio" (salt-seasoned beef tongue) though.

So, I'll take the "Tokujo Tan-shio" (premium beef tongue with salt).

I was particular about this.

Despite being called "Tokkyu" (special class), everything feels far from luxurious.

The outer case is cheap, the tile case is cheap, and the score sticks are rough.

It seems like the tiles haven't been used.

Small pieces of debris are mixed in.

There might be more.

I don't know about the score sticks, but they look like they've been used.

And, I can confirm that one is broken.

I haven't counted the number, so let me know if you want to know.

I don't know the exact age, but I think it's at least from before the Heisei era.

If we're in Heisei 37 now, it's been at least 40 years.
