Get to every single ball with blistering speed the Vapor 12. It?s lighter and more responsive than the Vapor 11 thanks to reworked components such as the upper and traction pattern. And, we brought back some of your favorite Vapor attributes such as an Air Zoom unit, so you can always be on the attack.

Zoom It -ÿA heel Zoom Air unit helps keep you supported and springy throughout your match. The forefoot is feathery, flexible and fast, so the moment your foot touches the ground, you can explode and move.
Clay-Ready -ÿNike Claybreaker technology helps give you enhanced traction and less buildup on clay courts. Added grip in the forefoot and midfoot work with a wide traction pattern to help you slide with control. We used traction maps, pressure maps and analyzed clay buildup areas for the design. Then we tested it on red-clay courts in Europe in multiple clay-weather conditions (cold, warm, wet and dry).
Lighter Load - We brought back the firm midfoot plastic piece seen on past Vapors to provide great stability and transitions when cutting from side to side. The supportive piece also allowed us to remove the rubber in the midfoot, which helped reduce the overall weight of the shoe.
Transfer the Power -ÿA firm footframe wraps around the supportive midfoot plate and spans from toe-to-heel to give you more of a locked down feel. It helps give you the stability to transfer power during aggressive slides, cuts and pivots.
