This listing is for a used pokemon platinum with case. It has a lot of sentimental value, therefore the high price.
The last two pictures are of the item you will actually recieve.
This is an Authentic Pokemon Platinum. To prove it I've provided pictures of a SEALED POKEMON PLATINUM game to show what it should look like new. Also provided is the link to a guide online that is very helpful as well.
I have verified that most of these differences occur in both diamond and pearl as well. They have an R instead of TM though but it shows on reproductions as well.
Also worth mentioning is that if it says Nintendo Nintendo Nintendo all across the middle part of the sealing plastic, then it is NOT AUTHENTIC.
Other good tips:
Y folds are no longer a good indicator of authenticity. They can be replicated on reproductions (verified).
