Very rare pair of vintage classic Christmas books from the 1950’s. The Night Before Christmas book is from 1956 and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer from 1951, which is by Whitman Publishing Company. On both books, parts of the covers have sections that are textured/fuzzy. The top and bottom edges of the books are scalloped. They have rich illustrations throughout, although no credit is given to the artist. The covers shows some creasing and wear on the edges and corners, and a little surface wear. The Night Before Christmas book has a little more wear than Rudolph. It has some tearing at the bottom, some internal writing (mostly underlining throughout the book) as well as some tape on the side. Rudolph is in great shape with no internal markings. Both books feel more vintage - not like normal paperback books. Both books show original price of 15 cents!
Books measure approximately 9 1/4" x 12 3/4".
