This stunning ashtray has been behind glass where I could see it, for over 45 years. I love the Art Deco era, and looking at this ashtray has always made my eyes happy. The glaze is the most beautiful mottled forest/sage green with hints of gold and dark blue depending on the light, being different on all 3 sides. It is 4" tall and 6 7/8" across the top. The base feet are a 3 1/2" triangle. I noticed for the first time today, a tiny circular breach in the glaze that doesn't appear to be a chip. I was surprised but was going over the ashtray with a magnifying glass. Its the only flaw Ive found, and today no less, - no cracks or crazing. It is hefty weighing 1lb 8oz. One of the markings on the bottom appears to be F30, but I'm never quite sure. F30 brought me no search results. I hope who next owns this piece, will appreciate it's unique beauty as much as I have.
