Light: Hoya wayetii thrives in bright, indirect light. Some morning sun is beneficial and can cause the leaf edges to turn red, but harsh afternoon sun should be avoided as it can scorch the foliage.

Watering: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. The semi-succulent leaves store water, and overwatering can lead to root rot. A good indicator that it's thirsty is when the leaves feel slightly flexible or limp.
