Vintage 1997 Dept. 56 Dickens Village "The Spirit of Giving" Start a Tradition.
This series began in 1984 and is a step back in time to the cobblestone streets, gas lamps and hose drawn carriage of the 19th century. With old world churches, quaint shops, cozy cottages, rustic school.s the series portrays London and the surrounding countryside as it was during Dickens lifetime.
Handpainted porcelain.
This set includes "Sudbury Church" and the "Old East Rectory" along with sisal trees, cobblestone road, fake snow and 3 human figurines.
The set is in excellent condition with no signs of wear or missing pieces. Only used for 2 seasons. Light in the two porcelain pieces works.
Comes in original box which has wear and staining from storage.
