Up for sale is a Vintage Large Chinese Copper-Red Ox Blood Porcelain (Langyao Red) Vase Lamp. The height including the bracket is 30". The vase part is 16" tall and 9" wide at the belly.
Beautiful Ox blood glaze with crackled pattern throughout. Oxblood red porcelain glazes, sometimes referred to as sang de boeuf or copper red, are known for their rich, dark red to almost black color and a glossy finish. This unique color is achieved through the use of copper in the glaze, which is then fired in a reducing kiln environment.
There is one chip at the rim of the vase (only visible from under the bronze metal cover (see the last picture.) Otherwise it is in perfect condition with no other chip/crack/damage.
No shade is included. They are easily available locally. The bracket will be dissembled prior to shipping. Simple assembly is needed upon receipt (no tool needed). Lamp works great!
