Vintage MMA replica of a Chinese Longquan celadon 'twin fish' bowl.
It’s a style that was common during the Southern Song (1128-1279) and Yuan (1279-1368) dynasties. This type of dish is known for its pale celadon or bluish-green glaze and molded twin fish motif in the center. The fish are a symbol of abundance and prosperity in Chinese culture.
This bowl is 6” in diameter, and is in perfect condition, no chips, cracks, crazing etc. It has a dimpled like underside. It’s really absolutely darling! I tried to show it in different lights because it can appear mint green, egg blue, or even a pistachio color at times.
Can be great to hold delicate jewelry, trinkets, or display.
