Vintage 1970 Purse Tote Made In Guatemala Handmade Wooden Handle Male Female Dancer
Incredible detail and beautiful construction.
This one of a kind bag, tote, purse is from our large collection of vintage handbags.
The purse was purchased while we were in Guatemala in 1971.
It is in excellent vintage condition.

Charming round woven wooden handle is 4".
From the top of the handle to the bottom of the tote is 19".
The top of the fabric to the base is 15".
9 1/4" wide.
Each pocket is 9 1/4" x 9 1/4".
One pocket depicts a female dancer with castanets and the other pocket depicts a male dancer as well with castanets.
Fantastic, hand woven, hand dyed (we believe cotton) fabric.
Along the sides, with red and yellow wool is stitched in "x's".
Four tassels on the corners of the base tied in red, green, and white wool.
The inside of the tote is stunning stripes in multiple colors.
The fabric is absolutely fantastic.
